Chris Kabatt leads our Bethesda, MD office and is a registered professional engineer with over 25 years of experience in traffic, parking and transportation planning and engineering. He works extensively on residential, retail, mixed use, office, hospital, and school projects and also provides expert testimony and represents clients before boards, commissions and citizen groups.
His broad experience spans transportation impact studies, parking analysis and design, site access and circulation studies, speed studies, Transportation Demand Management plans, traffic signal design plans, signing and pavement marking plans, maintenance of traffic plans, traffic signal warrant studies, interchange justification studies, loading management plans, and more.
Chris is an esteemed member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP DC|MD), where he holds a position on the Leadership Committee. Additionally, he is actively involved with ULI, further showcasing his dedication to the industry and its advancement.
In the past, Chris was appointed by the Montgomery County Council in Maryland to serve on the Silver Spring Transportation Management District Advisory Committee. This role allowed him to contribute valuable insights and recommendations concerning transportation management in the Silver Spring area.
