TYSONS, VIRGINIA (January 6, 2023) – Wells + Associates, founded in 1991 by Marty Wells and a leading provider of transportation consulting services, today announced the promotion of William F. Johnson, P.E., PTOE to Vice President of Engineering. He will lead the focus and growth of our full-service traffic engineering and transportation planning team, expanding our geographic footprint while piloting and reviewing complex processes in traffic design.

Will joined the firm in January 2005, taking on oversight of complex traffic impact studies, bicycle and pedestrian evaluations, master plan studies, freeway and limited access reports, to name a few. His dedication to the firm and his work has proven to be exceptional and rewarding. From finding the right solutions for our clients to the final preparation of technical reporting and analysis for each project, he has nurtured the growth and talent of the next generation of engineers and planners. Will has comprehensive experience of leading the firm in this area.
