Johnson Manages a Wide Range of Traffic Engineering Projects

(Tysons, VA – September 4, 2019) – Wells + Associates (W+A), a national transportation consulting firm, today announced the promotion of William F. “Will” Johnson to Principal at the firm. A registered Professional Engineer in Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina, Will manages the Manassas, VA office of the firm and provides traffic engineering and transportation planning services to clients in Virginia, the Washington, DC region, and other jurisdictions.
Will has a decade and a half of experience in a wide range of traffic and transportation projects. He manages teams and works on a variety of mixed use, commercial, residential, institutional, and office developments. As part of the W+A team, he helps create and implement sustainable, cost-effective transportation solutions in order to produce more profitable investments and improved transportation for commuters.

As such, he has served as an Adjunct Instructor for Civil, Environmental and Infrastructure Engineering at George Mason University, teaching courses in traffic engineering and engineering and economic models. He also participates in design charettes to help determine optimal transportation models for long-range infrastructure planning.
