Wells + Associates Opens New Office in Charlotte, North Carolina

(Charlotte, NC – July 1, 2021) Wells + Associates (W+A), a national transportation consulting firm, today announced that it has opened a new office in Charlotte, NC to expand and deepen our work for clients in the Southeast United States.

While today is the official opening of our Charlotte office, our work on the ground in Charlotte has been in process since mid-2020, when our Senior Associate John Schick relocated to the region. Despite the economic uncertainty caused by the pandemic, our work in Charlotte and the region has continued to expand in the last year.

“2021 marks our 30th year in business. We could find no better way to mark this anniversary than with the opening of our new Charlotte office,” stated President Michael J. Workosky.

Our work in the region has included:

  • developing the first TDM plan to be approved by the City of Charlotte,
  • conducting traffic analyses for new commercial developments,
  • providing multimodal planning guidance and traffic impact studies,
  • performing shared parking analyses, and
  • developing parking design layouts.

Stated John Schick, “I couldn’t be more pleased with the progress we have made in Charlotte. Our work has involved teammates from across our company on a range of interesting projects.”
