SEPTA Announces Preferred Plan for Rail Service from Philadelphia to King of Prussia

Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) has unveiled its preferred plan for a regional rail service to King of Prussia (KOP). The rail line would serve growing transportation needs in the King of Prussia region, which is currently served only by bus or vehicle, and strengthen the greater Philadelphia economy by providing rail service for a variety of new transit riders, including shoppers, residents, tourists and commuters.

Public comment opportunities are open this month, and we invite you to discuss rails’ impact on KOP with us at the GVF’s Annual Legislative Breakfast on March 14, where Wells + Associates transportation demand management team will have a table. For more information, visit www.gvftma.com.
