Wells + Associates is seeking a candidate for an entry to mid-level Traffic Engineer on our DC team.

Job Duties:

• Perform and oversee data collection
• Prepare technical analyses including capacity analyses and parking analyses
• Conduct bicycle and pedestrian evaluations
• Prepare technical reports
• Coordinate the work of technical staff, data collection personnel, and interns
• Perform engineering/planning work with supervision
• Travel to and from job sites, other offices, and meetings, as required

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)
• 2 to 4 years of experience in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning
• Experience using HCS, Synchro, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience conducting trip generation analyses and traffic impact studies
• Knowledge of VISSIM, GIS, and AutoCAD a plus
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Drivers’ license and personal transportation
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
