Bike to Work Day on May 15, 2025 was a beautiful spring day in Northern Virginia – another oppportunity for our Mobility Managment + TDM team to encourage more people to take their bicycles to work. Our team hosted pit stops at Mosaic in Fairfax and The Boro in Tysons.
A core tenet of our mission is to encourage and help provide more ways to commute and travel outside of the single-occupancy vehicle.
Bike to Work Day Pit Stop in Mosaic – Fairfax, Virginia
Mosaic is a vibrant mixed-use development spanning over 30 acres in the middle of Fairfax County, with over 1,000 apartment living spaces and 500,000 square feet of office and retail space. In other words, it’s a great place to promote the idea of using active transportation – specifically, bicycles – to get from one place to another.
On Bike to Work Day, we:
- Hosted around 200 attendees,
- Partnered with 15 companies in the Mosaic district alone,
- Handed out free giveaways including bike bells, bike tools, water bottles, and backpacks, and
- Enjoyed live entertainment from DJ Bounce.

Recently, The Boro was recognized as a Best Site for Commuters, which recognize sites that excel in implementing green commuter programs, including ridesharing, transit benefits, biking and walking, and teleworking.
This was the first annual pit stop that we hosted at The Boro, partnering with four partner companies from in and around The Boro, with about 50 bikers stopping by in the afternoon.
