Wells + Associates: “Best Consulting Website” WebAward for 2019

Wells + Associates Receives Web Marketing Association’s “Best Consulting Website” Award for 2019

Wells + Associates is delighted to announce that our website has received the “Best Consulting Website” award for 2019 from the Web Marketing Association. WMA’s award program recognizes achievement in the creation of top web sites. The winner of the 2018 Consulting website award was Accenture.

Wells + Associates’ new website was conceived and organized by a core marketing and design team in our company who worked closely with Wood Street Inc., a web design and development firm based in Frederick, Maryland with 17 years of experience in the field. Wood Street designed and coded a customized WordPress website that fulfilled W+A’s goals of:

  • building an information-rich platform to publish thought leadership content, including blog articles, infographics, and webinars, centered around forward-thinking transportation ideas and solutions
  • concisely expressing W+A’s expertise in transportation engineering, planning, and sustainability strategies, and
  • providing potential clients and industry professionals an easy way to find information that is relevant to their transportation challenges as well as convenient ways to reach out to relevant W+A consultants who can assist them with their needs.

“As professionals around the world would agree, there is no feeling quite like using one’s expertise to help a client solve a problem,” said Courtney J. Menjivar, Principal at Wells + Associates. “We worked hard to create a beautiful website founded on the best technical and marketing standards to make it easier for the people who value our services to find us. Our website is validating our strategy, and WMA’s WebAward is icing on the cake.”

“A lot of work went into this effort, and it shows.” – Jamie Stup, Wood Street

Aside from creating a modern, responsive website design, our aim was to achieve technical excellence using SEO best practices, improving site speed, and writing and designing metadata to match market needs. The response from new and existing clients to our new website has made the investment worthwhile.

“This was a pleasant surprise as we didn’t know that the site was up for this award,” said Jamie Stup, Vice President of Wood Street, “but after working with Nick and company, we’re not surprised that this site was recognized. A lot of work went into this effort, and it shows.”

Now in its 17th year, WMA’s WebAward program is the longest-running annual website award competition dedicated to naming the best websites in nearly 100 industries while setting the standard of excellence for all website development.

The Web Marketing Association was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and development of the best websites on the World Wide Web. Staffed by volunteers, WMA is comprised of Internet marketing, online advertising, PR, and top website design professionals who share an interest in improving the quality of online advertising, internet marketing, and website promotion.
