Mike Pinkoske Wells + Associates

Mike Pinkoske is a Principal on our transportation engineering and planning team with nearly 20 years of experience managing traffic engineering, transportation planning, and parking projects for developers, civil engineering firms, land use attorneys, architects, and property owners.

A Professional Transportation Planner (PTP), Mike has experience across a wide range of sectors, including office, residential, retail, commercial, mixed use, transit-oriented, and hospital developments. With experience along the East Coast – from Florida to North Carolina to New Jersey – he has deep experience in the Washington, DC region, including Northern Virginia and Maryland.

Mike has shown a commitment to being an advocate for clients across any situation, from brand-new developments to expansions and modifications of existing properties. He understands the importance of building strong relationships with reviewing agencies while also representing clients in public hearings where community concerns are an important factor in property development.

His engineering and parking work spans a wide range of disciplines, including project management, multimodal traffic impact and parking studies, interchange modification reports, roadway capacity analysis and traffic forecasting, as well as shared parking analyses. This work is supported by his technical experience in managing technical and capacity analyses, micro-simulation and directional distribution analyses, technical reports, document preparation and plan reviews and data collection.

With the growth of mixed-use and transit options, Mike has helped guide clients toward multimodal solutions including bicycle and pedestrian evaluation and planning, transportation demand management (TDM) planning, and developing parking solutions in transit-oriented environments.
